Victory Baptist Church Leadership
Victory Baptist Church has been led by Pastor Sam Moss since 2017. Bro. Jeff Piercy became Associate Pastor in 2023.
Sam Moss
Senior Pastor
Sam Moss was appointed to serve as Victory Baptist Church's Senior Pastor in March, 2017. Prior to that, he served as a missionary in Uganda, East Africa where he was involved in various ministries including church planting and Bible translation. He is still actively involved in the ongoing Bible translation work functioning as the administrator for the team of translators and takes a trip to Uganda each year to encourage the translation team and other believers through a Bible Conference.
Having worked with people in various leadership positions for many years, he enjoys getting to know people and is always happy to take the time to counsel and encourage. He has a burning desire to lead a church like Victory Baptist Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Sam takes worship and preaching very seriously, and strives to provide a helpful variety of "spiritual food" for the flock of God.
He graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2005 with a degree in Church Music and a minor in Biblical Greek.
Pastor Sam has been happily married to his wife, Nicole, since 2004. They have three sons still at home: Levi, Silas & Elijah.
